Practicing what you're bad at...

Practicing what one is bad at - at least to bring it up to an acceptable level - is perhaps the best use of practice range time.

A great way to find out what one is bad at is to shoot an assessment, such as the IDPA classifier... If you're dropping points on weak hand, then perhaps the next few range session should deal with nothing but weak hand shooting. Ditto if you're dropping points on far shots.

After looking at my IDPA classifier from the past weekend ... we hit the range and did just that!

Wow - is that least fun EVER that you can have with a plate rack?!
