Aurora Sportsmen's Club Practical Rifle - On the Calendar!

You'll find "Practical Rifle" on the 3rd Satruday of each month on the Aurora IDPA calendar (they shoot using IDPA rules).
Check out Aurora Sportsmen's Club site too...

I've got a FAL that is just itching for some trigger time!!

The purpose of Practical Rifle is both competition and skills development. Shooters typically use modern magazine fed semi-automatic weapons such as AR-15s, AK-47 variants etc. Shooters challenge themselves by facing new tasks and situations each month.

Shooters MUST be present and registered in time for the safety brief beginning at 9:30 am at the Rifle/Pistol ranges on Rueff Road. If you arrive early, help setting up is always appreciated.

Practical Rifle events use International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) rules for our events. This is to ensure all participants are on the same page, the most important thing to know is the range commands.

Plan on firing about 100 rounds.

Cost is $10 for ASC members, $20 non-members.
