Interesting Article...

When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time at the gym learning to box, playing around with concepts, seeing if any had merit, etc. Some of it didn't pan out, but it wasn't wasted time - all of it was a good study in motion and etc. Just toying with concept, physically and mentally, without pressure, has merit.

I can't help but think, that as we get older, it seems that some of our interactions/training gets more and more dogmatic, possibly to our detriment...

This New Yorker article about runner Bernard Lagat, seemed to capture a bit about the carefree attitude that keeps a competitor "fresh"...
